14 Nov 1859Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/79
Cundall reports that he has sent 4 photographs of Lord Methuen's pictures, some of which are not good, for 'the fogs of London are terribly against us'. He will go to Aldenham Abbey and to Mr Hope's house soon.
Lord Methuen's picture is presumably the Madonna mentioned in VIC/ADDA10/85/69. William Stuart of Aldenham Abbey and Henry Hope are among the Raphael owners listed in VIC/ADDA10/85/75a.
Related Material: For related correspondence, see VIC/ADDA10/85/69 and VIC/ADDA10/85/75a.
