BARON ERNEST STOCKMAR (1823-86)

Letter from Ernst Stockmar to Dr. Ernst Becker asking whether he should arrange for a [Raphael] drawing belonging to Herr von Bethmann Hollweg to be photographed.

27 Nov 1859

Loose manuscript paper; mounted | 1 document (4 pages) (whole object) | RA VIC/ADDA10/85/422

Stockmar reports that Herr von Bethmann Hollweg apologises for having forgotten the photograph, but would be willing for a photographer to come and photograph the drawing (subject not specified) at Rheineck. Stockmar asks whether he should commission a photographer from Coblenz to do this. A note by Becker on the letter records that he answered in the affirmative.
