Härtel writes to Becker expressing surprise and delight at his letter (see VIC/ADDA10/85/371) and telling him that the Prince Consort has authorised him to send Dr. Härtel photographs of the Raphael drawings at Windsor and in the British Museum, and thanking Dr. Becker for his part in this.
