Colonel Bruce reports that he has just heard from Lake Price that the Director General of the Pontifical Museum has called on him to say that Cardinal Antonelli has given permission for the photography requested by the Prince Consort. He comments that this prompt compliance with a request repeatedly denied to other influential applicants is strong evidence of goodwill on the part of the Vatican government.
