A print reproducing the heads of three of the figures flanking the altar in the fresco of the Disputa (The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament), painted by Raphael around 1508-09 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. Dated and lettered with production details.
At left are the heads of the monk with tonsure crouched up at the left of the altar (top) and of the monk with black cape standing at far right often indentified as Savonarola (bottom); at right is the bust of St Ambrose wearing the mitre sitting at the right of the altar.
