A print after the fresco of the 'Temptation of Adam and Eve' painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the second bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with production details and dedication in German below image. The lettered state with dedication is dated 1813 (see Corinna Höper in 'Raffael und die Folgen', pp.390-91, no.F 6.16B). Another state of the same plate is mounted on the verso.
