A print reproducing Raphael's fresco of The School of Athens, painted in c.1509-10 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. Lettered with production details and dedicatee's coat of arms (but without dedication to Wilhelm I of Germany). With bearded head in profile to left in the lower right corner. Annotated in pencil on the back. Described as from Pietro de Brognoli's series of prints after Raphael's Stanze frescoes and Sistine Chapel tapestries dated 1874 (Höper 2001). Not in Ruland (1876).
