A print reproducing the fresco of The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple, painted by Raphael between 1511 and 1512 in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican. Lettered with production details and dedication to Pope Pius VI (r.1775-99). Stamped with black ink doublette stamp in the lower right corner. Annotated in pencil on the back. Not in Ruland (1876).

Plate 3 from a series of 8 reproducing Raphael's Stanze frescoes, including the Disputa (RCIN 852371), the School of Athens (RCIN 852524.a), the Parnassus (RCIN 852458), the Meeting between Leo the Great and Attila (RCIN 852716, 852715.a), the Fire of Borgo (RCIN 852817.a) and the Miracle of the Mass at Bolsena (RCIN 852703.a).
