A photograph of a drawing now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.4305). The drawing has been described as a preparatory study by the workshop of Raphael, or a copy after such, for an unexecuted monochrome intended for the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican. Scholars have often attributed the drawing to Francesco Penni.
