An engraving by Giovanni Petrini after the fresco The division of the lands painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the tenth bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with attribution of the composition to Raphael and the signature of the printmaker. Numbered bottom right: XXXX. First state.

This engraving is from Pietro Montagnani's Picturae Peristyli Vaticani of 1790, for which a number of engravers reproduced the 52 frescoes in the loggia. The frescoes are framed by imagined decorative borders which do not correspond with the actual borders in the loggia.
