The Disembarkation from the Ark

A reversed engraving after the fresco of The Disembarkation from the Ark painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the third bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. First state. Signed and dated with artist's name and attribution to Raphael on a stone at lower centre. On watermarked paper (unidentified).

The print differs significantly from the fresco, especially the figures of Noah's family.
