An anonymous engraving in reverse after the fresco of The Deluge painted by the workshop of Raphael (1517-19) in the vault of the third bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with attribution of the design to Raphael at lower left. It differs slightly from the fresco. Trimmed along all edges. Ruland (1876) states in his catalogue that the print is probably by a Dutch master.

An untrimmed impression can be found at the British Museum (inv. no.1951,0407.73).
