The baptism of Christ

Ruland (1876) catalogued this Royal Collection drawing as the 'original' sketch for the loggia fresco, and listed the British Museum drawing as the copy. Popham (see Bibliographic References) recognised that it was the Royal Collection drawing which copied that in the British Museum, and that the British Museum one was previously in the collection of the King of Holland. Dacos (see Bibliographic References) attributes the British Museum drawing to Raffaellino del Colle.
