A facsimile of a drawing by Raphael (c.1510) now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lille (inv. Pl.433). Lettered with artists' names below image. Numbered in the upper right corner. Published in Choix de dessins de Raphael qui font partie de la collection Wicar à Lille, Paris 1858, pl. IV.

The drawing reproduced in this print is a study for the angel to the right of the allegorical figure of Theology, depicted in a roundel on the vault of the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. A photograph of the roundel can be found at RCIN 852612.
