Albumen print | RCIN 852451

A photograph of a reversed facsimile described by Ruland (1876) as by Count Morys. The facsimile reproduces a drawing formerly attributed to Raphael, thought to be a preparatory study for the figure of St Jerome and those around him in the fresco of the Disputa (The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament), painted by Raphael in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican between 1508 and 1511.
  • Acquired for the Prince Consort's Raphael Collection (c.1853-76)
