A photograph of a drawing by Raphael (c.1510) now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no.WA1846.195r). The drawins is a study for the allegorical figure of Theology, depicted in a roundel on the vault of the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican. Apparently the connexion of this drawing with the figure of Theology was first recorded by Ruland. A photograph of the roundel can be found at RCIN 852612.
