A facsimile of a drawing by Raphael (c.1509) now in the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Lille (inv. no.Pl 479). Lettered with artists' names. Numbered at upper right: PL. III. Published in Choix de dessins de Raphael qui font partie de la collection Wicar à Lille, Paris 1858.

The study of the stooping figure shown in profile to right reproduced in this print connects with one of the pupils of Euclid in the right foreground of Raphael's School of Athens, painted in c.1509-10 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican.
