A print reproducing (in reverse) a drawing now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.3877). Lettered with artists' names along the lower margin. Numbered at top left: 167. Stamped with blind stamp of the 'Chalcographie du Louvre, Musées Imperiaux' (variant of Lugt 1695). Published in Cabinet du Roy, a set of etchings reproducing drawings from the French royal collection, executed by Caylus. Cordellier/Py (1992) mentioned this print as published in Recueil Caylus, f.2.

The drawing is a study by Raphael (or one of his pupils) for the caryatid at far right under the fresco of The Liberation of St Peter in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican.
