A photograph of the verso of a drawing by Raphael (c.1508-09) currently in the Musée Fabre, Montpellier (inv. no.3184v). The study connects with the figure leaning over a marble balustrade in the lower right corner of the Disputa (The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament), painted by Raphael in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican between 1508 and 1511. A photograph of the recto (featuring a further study for this figure) can be found at RCIN 852452.
