A photograph of a drawing now in the David Owsley Museum of Art, Indiana, attributed to Giovanni Francesco Penni. This drawing, which is squared, is considered to be the modello for the fresco 'Lot's family flees Sodom' painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the fourth bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. The drawing was previously in the collections of Queen Christina of Sweden and Thomas Lawrence, amongst others.
