A print reproducing one of the four paintings in the vault of the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican. Lettered with engraver's name. From Raphael Santi's Decken-Gemälde der Stanza dell'Eliodoro im Vatican, a series of plates by T. Langer and L. Gruner (after designs by Niccolo Consoni) reproducing the four main ceiling paintings of the Stanza di Eliodoro. The series was published in 1875.

The scene reproduced in this print shows the Bible story of Jacob’s Ladder; it is painted above the wall-painting of The Liberation of St. Peter.
