A facsimile of a drawing in the Graphische Sammlung, Münich (inv. no.2465), catalogued by Ruland (1876) as a 'first pen and ink sketch, with various pentimenti' for the fresco Jacob asks for Rachel as wife painted by the workshop of Raphael (c.1517-19) in the vault of the sixth bay of the Raphael Loggia in the Vatican. Lettered with the attribution of the drawing to Raphael and the printmaker's name. Published in Christian von Mannlich, Les Oeuvres Lithographiques, 6 vols., Munich 1811-16, vol.1.
