A photograph of a cartoon fragment by Raphael (c.1512) now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.3852). The fragment is from the original cartoon for the fresco of The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple, painted in 1511-12 in the Stanza di Eliodoro in the Vatican, and corresponds with the head of the foremost heavenly figure who runs alongside the armed rider in the centre-right foreground of the fresco.
