A print reproducing the head of the child playing with a dog painted in the centre foreground of the fresco of 'The Donation of Constantine', executed by Raphael's workshop in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican between 1520 and 1524. Lettered along the lower margin. Numbered at upper right: XXXIV. Probably from "Tetes choisies de personnages illustres..." published by Paolo Fidanza in Rome in 1785. 

Paolo Fidanza became famous for publishing six volumes of prints of heads after Raphael between 1757 and 1763.
