A print reproducing the head of the bearded man wearing a beret painted on the left of the fresco of 'The Baptism of Constantine', executed by Raphael's workshop in the Sala di Costantino in the Vatican between 1520 and 1524. Lettered with production details. The figure is identified as the painter Francesco Penni. Published in 'Raccolta delle teste dei filosofi, dei Poeti, colle nove Muse ed Apollo, e di altri uomini illustri dipinti da Raffaelle...', a series engraved by a number of different artists after designs by Luigi Agricola.
