A photograph of a cartoon fragment by Raphael (c.1509) currently in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.3868). The cartoon is for the figure of God the Father in the fresco of the Disputa (The Disputation of the Holy Sacrament), painted by Raphael around 1508-09 in the Stanza della Segnatura in the Vatican.
Acquired for the Prince Consort's Raphael Collection (c.1860-76)
