An engraving by Nicolas Beatrizet depicting the Temple of Portunus or Temple of Fortuna Virilis. This print is lettered with the title at left, and publication details at the bottom right corner 'Tomasius Barl Exc M.D.L'. Signed by the printmaker with his monogram. This print was published in the Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae (the "Mirror of Roman Magnificence"), a collection of maps and prints that depicted major monuments and antiquities in Rome. Trimmed within the platemark. Annotated on the verso. On watermarked paper.

The temple was originally built in the 3rd or 4th century BC but then rebuilt between 120–80 BC: it is one of the best preserved Roman temples.
