A photograph of a drawing depicting a figure leaning on a table and another figure now in the Royal Library, Windsor (RCIN 912753). Annotated on the verso.

This drawing is currently considered a copy after Filippo Lippi (see Bibliographic References). The figure on the left corresponds to that of the woman on the left of the 'Infancy of St Ambrose' by Lippi (the predella of the 'Coronation of the Virgin') now in the Gemaldegalerie, Berlin no. 95 B). The figure on the right corresponds to that of St John the Baptist in the 'Coronation of the Virgin' now in the Uffizi, Florence (inv, no. 8352). The drawing is inscribed on the verso: 'Rafaello dUrbino'.
