A photograph of a drawing depicting a horse's head by an unknown artist now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no. WA1846.227). Annotated on the verso.

This drawing was previously in Sir Thomas Lawrence's collection and it was then attributed to Raphael. In the catalogue of the Italian drawings of the Ashmolean Museum, Parker writes that handling of this drawing is poor, suggesting it could be a copy of the first half of the 16th century "after some Roman artist of a lesser order" (see Bibliographic References).
