c.1853-1876

Albumen print | 12.5 x 11.6 cm (sheet of paper) | RCIN 854492

A photograph of a drawing that Ruland (1876) catalogued as being then in the Royal Collection at Berlin. This drawing depicts a study of drapery for the lower half of a sitting figure. Annotated on the verso.

This drapery study appears very similar to a sheet now in the Uffizi attributed to Lorenzo di Credi (inv. no. 506 E).
