A photograph of a plaster cast of a dead child carried by a dolphin that Ruland (1876) catalogued as "supposed to have been taken from the original". He also specifies that the cast was then in the Mengs Collection at Dresden. Passavant (see Bibliographic References) attributed this sculpture to Raphael.
