St Michael
c.1720-1729Engraving with etching | 35.3 x 26.9 cm (sheet of paper) | RCIN 851439
A print after a painting by Raphael (c.1503-04) when in the Cabinet du Roi. The painting is now in the Musée du Louvre, Paris (inv. no.608). Published in 'Recueil de Crozat', 1729, I, 15. The print is described as by Claude Duflos, who died in 1727; therefore the plate seems to have been included in the 'Recueil de Crozat' after the death of the printmaker.
