A photograph of a cartoon by Fra Bartolommeo now in the Gabinetto Disegni e Stampe degli Uffizi, Florence (inv. no.1777E). The cartoon is thought to be related to the figure of Mary Magdalene in Fra Bartolommeo's painting of 'God the Father with St Mary Magdalene and St Catherine of Siena' currently housed in the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Palazzo Mansi, Lucca. According to Ruland (1876), the photographed cartoon was then in the Accademia delle Belle Arti, Florence. A photograph of another cartoon by Fra Bartolommeo depicting the figure of St Catherine of Siena (which was also used for the painting now in Lucca) can be found at RCIN 851542.
