An outline-etching after a painting attributed on plate to Raphael when housed in the Palazzo Giustiniani, Rome. In his Raphael Collection catalogue (1876), Ruland listed the painting as being then in the Museum in Berlin. The painting which is reproduced in this print resembles closely a picture now in the Musée du Château de Versailles (MV 7717); a print after the latter at RCIN 851547. Published in C. P. Landon, Galerie Giustiniani, 1812, plate 4.
