A print after a painting when in the Marquis of Stafford Collection, London. The painting - attributed on plate to Louis de Vargas - corresponds closely to a picture previously attributed to Raphael and once housed in the Electoral Gallery, Dusseldorf; a print after the latter can be found at RCIN 851544. Lettered with title and production details. Numbered on plate, below title: 1. Published in Engravings of the Most Noble the Marquis of Stafford's Collection, London 1818, plate 1.
