A print after a design probably by an artist from Raphael's workshop (Bartsch). Signed on plate with engraver's monogram at lower left (die with the letter B; see Nagler, I, no.1563). From a set of four engravings also including: St Mary Magdalene (RCIN 851627), St Roch (B.XV.193.15) and St Sebastian (B.XV.193.14).
