A print after a painting by Raphael (c.1514) now in the Pinacoteca Nazionale, Bologna (inv. no.577). Dated on plate at upper right (1539; obtained in white 'al risparmio' on the dark background), and lettered at lower right (.RA.IN.IVLIO.F). The date has often been misread as 1531.
