A photograph of a red chalk drawing depicting a study for a Lamentation now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no. WA1846.34) which is attributed to Innocenzo da Imola.
This drawing was previously in Sir Thomas Lawrence's collection and it was then attributed to Raphael and related to the Borghese Entombment, a painting executed by Raphael (1507) now in the Galleria Borghese, Rome (inv.no. 170). Ruland (1876) rejected the attribution of this drawing to Raphael.
