An engraving that Bartsch catalogued as being after a composition by Battista Franco depicting The Adoration of the Magi. This print is signed by the printmaker with his monogram. Trimmed within the platemark.
As the plate is all engraved with the exception of the tree which is etched, it is possible that the printmaker re-used a plate etched by Franco.
