Ornamental Frieze with Dancing Cupids

This woodcut is thought to represent an ornamental frieze with twenty-five children and amorini. At centre is the Raphaelesque 'Dance of Cupids', which was engraved by Marcantonio Raimondi (RCIN 851880). On the right is a naked woman playing the harp, and on the left a man playing a guitar. Signed with printmaker's monogram at lower right: VS. This woodcut is underscribed by Bartsch.
