A facsimile of a drawing by Raphael (c.1507-08) now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford (inv. no. WA1846.181). Published in Lawrence Gallery. A series of facsimiles of original drawings by Raffaelle da Urbino, London 1841, plate 5, where the subject of the drawing was identified as 'Sampson breaking the jaws of the lion'.
