An outline-etching reproducing a composition derived from an engraving by Marcantonio Raimondi (RCIN 851880), with the addition of two Cupids: one playing on the bagpipe, and the other the spinet. The original composition is thought to be based upon a design by Raphael. Lettered with titles, production details and crediting Raphael with the invention of the design. Published in C.P. Landon, 'Vie et Œuvre complète de Raphaël Sanzio', 1803, plate 309. This composition was reproduced in an etching attributed to Blanchard (RCIN 851886)
