A print after the so-called 'Madonna of Monteluce', a painting completed in 1525 by Giulio Romano and Giovanni Francesco Penni partially after designs by Raphael, to whom the commission was originally entrusted in 1503. The painting, which according to the lettering on the print was then in the church of Santa Maria di Monteluce, Perugia, is currently housed in the Pinacoteca Vaticana, Vatican City (inv. no.40359). Lettered with production details and dedication; this state lacks the day in the date (30 April 1791).
