This print is supposed to reproduce a lost design by Giulio Romano related to the frescoes in the choir of the Duomo of Verona, commissioned from the master but eventually completed in 1534 by Francesco Torbido to Giulio's designs. Fifth state, with the address of Giovanni Giacomo de' Rossi al lower centre, and lettered mark (GIR. FO.) at lower left.
