Landon, 'Vie et Œuvre complète de Raphaël Sanzio', 1803, plate 418. The composition is better known through a print of this subject by Battista Franco, a late state impression of which can be found at RCIN 851327.
The print shows the full-length Virgin seating on the ground and holding the Christ Child on her lap, with the Infant Baptist seating at left under a tree.
