An engraving after the so-called Tempi Madonna, a painting executed by Raphael for the Tempi family (1507-08) now in the Alte Pinakothek, Munich (inv. no.WA 796). As lettered below the image, the painting was still in Casa Tempi in Florence at the time the print was published. This print is plate 2 from a-yet-unidentified set, maybe the Recueil d’estampes gravées d’après les peintures à fresque italiennes, Paris, 1821. Lettered with production details.
