A lithograph after a painting dating 1509 formerly ascribed to Raphael. Lettered with the location of the painting. Plate no.80 from a-yet-unidentified set. See RCIN 850682 for a photograph of this painting.
Ruland (1876) attributed the painting to Perugino and described it as being then in the church of Sant'Agostino, Perugia. The painting recalls the central panel of Raphael's so-called 'Colonna Altarpiece' now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York (see RCIN 850667 for a photograph of the painting.
