A print after a circular painting catalogued by Ruland (1876) as being then in the Brussels Museum. Lettered with production details.

The painting reproduces the figures of the Virgin and Child from Raphael’s so-called Madonna del Baldacchino (c.1507-08), a painting now in the Galleria Palatina, Palazzo Pitti, Florence (inv. no.1912, no.165; see RCIN 850829 for a photograph of it).
