A photograph of a drawing now in the Biblioteca Reale, Turin (inv. no.15754). Bertini (1958) attributed the drawing to Mariotto Albertinelli. The sheet connects in composition with the so-called ‘Madonna del Divino Amore’ (c.1516), a painting currently attributed to Raphael’s workshop now in the Museo e Gallerie Nazionali di Capodimonte, Naples (inv. no.146, see RCIN 850910). Showing the seated Virgin holding the blessing Christ Child on her legs, with St Elizabeth at her side and the Young St John the Baptist kneeling down on the left; St Joseph stands in the background to the left.
