This engraving is a reversed copy (Copy A) of a print by Marcantonio Raimondi based upon a lost drawing by Raphael. Second state. Dated and lettered with '16' at lower right, and Latin inscription in the lower margin beneath image. Two second state impressions of Marcantonio's engraving can be found at RCIN 852181 and RCIN 852182.
